Florriana was born out of a belief that what we surround ourselves with should be as nourishing and nurturing as what we put inside it through our food. In doing so we nourish and nurture our own well-being. I wanted to show Mother Earth all the love by choosing to use a premium coconut-soy blended wax as its sustainability and performance credentials blew me away – no other wax came close to ticking all the boxes. For a product to be considered sustainable it’s usually eco-friendly, accessible, ethically made and lasting. These mindful qualities fall right in line with Florriana Candles, intentionally and elegantly curated for a beautiful space, beautiful world.
Both coconut and soy beans are a renewable resource and are both biodegradable. It is a non-toxic wax which is clean burning and produces no chemicals when lit. It also lasts up to 50% longer than many pure soy waxes and because of its superior ability to absorb the fragrance oils it has a better hot and cold scent throw. My cocosoy wax is sourced from a company who care not only about its own policy on environmental sustainability but also cares that it filters up the supply chain to the farmers and the producers of its raw materials. There is no palm oil or paraffin content, instead a unique vegetable sourced additive is used instead. So you can enjoy the benefits of this superior, 100% natural blend and take care of the earth that provides for us.
My fragrances all contain essential oils and are phthalate and paraben free, 100% vegan and are cruelty free and my glass and cardboard packaging is 100% recyclable.
